Thomas Brown, DDSDr. Tom Brown and his wife, Dr. Maddy Stumpos moved to Traverse City in the summer of 2022. Originally from northern Indiana, he attended Purdue University for his Bachelor of Science degree. He then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where he graduated from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry with his DDS degree.
Dr. Brown is a strong supporter of organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Resort District Dental Society.
Dr. Brown offers a large variety of dental procedures and is happy to work with patients of all ages.
In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Maddy, and their newborn daughter Frances.

I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Smyka's full time assistant since 1995. I graduated from Northern Michigan College as a certified and registered dental assistant. I look forward to serving you in our caring and comfortable atmosphere.
Melynn
I am a dental hygienist for Dr. Smyka and have been an employee here for 17 years. There are not a lot of occupations where you can help people and have so much information at your fingertips. I graduated from Ferris State College and absolutely love my job.
Danielle
I graduated from Ferris State University as a dental hygienist and have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Smyka and his great staff since 2004. Meeting and working with all the new and existing patients has been a joy. I love educating patients about their dental needs.
